Why do I get angry at the smallest things?

-And a lot of what I get angry at isn't even worth getting mad at like when my cousins are playing around me in our room, when someone talks too much or when one of my parents calls my name to talk to me and I have to leave my room. I have a few reasons why I could probably be so angry like growing up my brother used to bully me around and even though he's in jail now and doesn't treat me the same as then I still have bitter feelings towards him, when we have to talk on the phone I hate it he always wants me to call someone for him but I pretend like I do it just to get him off my case. Another reason could stem from above when my brother used to bully me he would also blackmail me so I wouldn't tell on him and one time he was bullying me I got so mad I yelled at him and everyone in the house heard it and we both got in trouble, and that in some way created some bitter feelings for me towards my mom till this day, it's like everytime she calls my name I get mad or act like I just don't care. I'm not trying to give you my life story but I need some help it's like I have bitter feelings towards a lot of people in my family.don't listen to them, i think you are bi-polar, i'm bi-polar too & i used to be that excat same way before i was on my medicene & when i don't take my medicene i'm like that what you need to do is go see your doctor & talk to them about it then they should recommened someone who will give you medicene for it, & when i read about your brother in jail, you made my heart break cause of that, i'm so sorry i hope he's doing alright & everything gets better with you, if you need to talk about anything even the most personal stuff you can e-mail me if you can find my e-mail i know it's uncomfortable talking to a stranger but i'm dealing with this too & even if it isn't bi-polar i'm still VERY glad to help you.find somthing to relive your anger ...

Of all the things that get us angry or stressed is not the weather or the unpaid bills or the car needing repairs,the mate that wants more from us than we have to give or the household chores or taxes or school or work or anything you can point to.The number one cause of stress is "our expectations of others".We expect people to react or behave in a certain way that is normal for any given situation.When someone makes a mess of the microwave oven we "expect " them to clean it.When someone owes us money and they get money from another source we " expect " to be repaid.If you want to have a good or happy day you may consider not getting involved with things that upset you or if you have no choice but to interact with others try to relax your "expectations" of others.It is very likely they do not want your opinion or will take your advice.It will not be an easy feat but with time and practice it will be more tolerable.You can change only how you react to things you cannot change the stimuli.Have you ever heard "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink"? Well now you have an idea where it comes from.Good luck and find peace please.
