My mom won't let me go out?

-i'm turning 17 soon and i'm ALWAYS home. it's summer! i want to go out and chill with my friends. but she always goes like, when are you going to study, you never study, blah blah blah. all about studying. i understand that studying is important, but i can't be locked up at home all the time. i asked if i can go watch a movie and eat with my friend and we fought because of it! then she goes on saying how i have an attitude and stuff. this whole summer i've only gone outside to hang out with my friends only like 4 times.. and i came home early for all of them..

please helpTell her you understand the importants of studying but your just a teen and socializing is very important. I honestly dint think you mom is being fair! Gooood Luck (:
Are you the only child?is so your mom doesnt want u to grow up...she realizes you are one year away from being legal and u will soon be going off for college.as far as studying your mom just wants wats best for you(i know u want to hang out its summer time u want to enjoy yourself) but think abt it this way u dont have much longer being locked up in the house....wen u do go out with your friends jus make the best of it and avoid arguing with your mom.Right now u do have to go by her rules bcz you are living under her room.**speaking from experience** you will appreciate it later on down the road HOPE this helps :)
