A way to get my brother to stop shoving his kid off on me and get my parents off my back?

-Long story short, whenever my parents go out, my brother and his girlfriend always tag a long and of course, am always stuck watching there 9 month old kid. Any.Single.Time. I even ask to go, but noooo, am stuck watching him because I seem to be the only person who will take him. Well, no crap, he screams and cries for hours on end, he's a spoiled little brat and they never will stop.



As for my parents, they never seem to get off my back about anything; ya, they work 10 hour job. But I'd like a little freedom now and then. Am always stuck doing the dishes, laundry, picking up rooms, vacuuming, making breakfast/lunch/dinner.



And before anyone just tells me to live with it, I've tried to and it does NOT work at all. And before anyone asks.

1. I still live with my parents

2. I have no job; lost a attempt at getting a job 2 months ago because I had to watch my brother kid and after that, had no luck getting a job. Parents tell me to 'just get over it.' Lil hard.

Any advice would be nice.Stand up and have a nice chat with your irresponsible brother and sister-in-law. be polite and civil and voice your opinion. As for you, I think you are not trying harder to get a job. Once you get a job with long hours...watch how quickly things will change at home. Good Luck.
when your parents go out why dont you tag a long before your bro and his gf so you wont get stuck with their kid, btw cant you stand up for yourself and refuse to watch the kid and go out and have fun?

Hello. I am sorry they are treating you like this, it's not fair at all. What I would do is just sit down with all of them and tell them how you are feeling. Make them really hear you out and really see your heart. If they still treat you like this, then the next time they go out and tell you to watch their son, put your foot down and say "No. I'm tired of you treating me like this, and I am not your slave."
