-Heres the thing. I guess you could call me a "butch", i'm really boyish and stuff. I dress in mostly black never wear dresses etc. (If you all me emo/goth or whatever, I'll kill you) Well i have strict christian parents (I'm part christian and a lesbian, i havent told them and i don't plan on telling them any time soon) and they want me to be more feminie. (i.e. More colors, more manners, doing normal lady stuff) If i have to act all gross and girly i'm gonna die!!!! What can i do to stop this/make it work???oh boy, your parents are being ignorant and need to catch up on the times.
and they CAN'T make you do this, because after all the way you dress and the way you act makes you, YOU.
and what the hell does doing 'normal lady stuff' mean? does a secret lady code exist to identify yourself as a girl?
just talk to them, and tell them you don't live to please them. just kidding, tell them that's the way you identify yourself and you won't pretend you're someone else, just to please people and make them accept you. and if it's just some sort of phase for them, then so be it, if it's a phase it will be necessary to go through. i'm sure it's not though.
I wouldn't come out either if i was you :s
I'm not a very feminine girl either but fortunately my parents realized and let me be.
Try to talk to them about it. Don't get all pissed when you talk to them though and try to stay calm, and explain how you feel. They can't make you do anything that you don't want to. I've done the same thing with my mom and she was cool about it, and we kinda compromised. It works. My parents are strict Christians too to be honest.
Play lady gaga's song "Born this way" And start singing and explaining your situation like in Glee lol.
But for realsies, just tell them that's who you are and they cant change that.
you were born that way baby.
U r emo
